<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pharmaceutical compositions including anti-IL-6 antibodies or fragments thereof, to improve survivability or quality of life of a patient having a disorder or syndrome accompanied by raised serum C-reactive protein level, and/or the lowered serum albumin level, which are caused by increase of IL-6.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition in combination with a chemotherapeutic agent or a statin, wherein: the anti-IL-6 antibody or antibody fragment comprises CDR1, CDR2, and CDR3 peptide in the variable light (VL) regions of each specific sequence and CDR1, CDR2, and CDR3 peptide in the variable heavy (VH) regions of each specific sequence to be included in another composition or the pharmaceutical composition, for improvement of survivability or quality of life of a patient having a disorder or syndrome accompanied by raised serum C-reactive protein level, and/or lowered serum albumin level, which are accompanied by increase of IL-6.</p> |
