<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular disk brake using a pad holding spring for pulling a friction pad back from the side face of a disk rotor during canceling braking to prevent the dragging of the friction pad, and for pushing the friction pad against a torque receiving part on the disk turn-out side during forward travel of a vehicle to inhibit the backlash of the friction pad. <P>SOLUTION: The pad holding spring 14 includes a mounted base portion 14a mounted on a backing 7b of the friction pad 7, and first claw pieces 14b, 14b and a second claw piece 14c protruded from the mounted base portion 14a in the counter direction of the disk rotor. The first claw pieces 14b, 14b, when abutting on a piston 8, cause reaction force to uniformly act on the friction pad 7, and the second claw piece 14c causes the reaction force to act on the friction pad 7 to be pushed to the disk turn-out side during forward travel of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
