<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nature-derived hair growth tonic having an excellent hair growing effect. <P>SOLUTION: An extract of snow ganoderma lucidum (Arenaria kansuensis Maxim.) has an excellent testosterone-5α-reductase inhibitor behavior, and the hair growth tonic containing the extract has the excellent hair growing effect. An extract which is extracted from a part or the whole grass of a plant body such as a leaf, a flower, a stem or the like of the plant body can be used for the extract of the snow ganoderma lucidum.
