In order to provide a joint structure and a power steering device that are highly durable and that gradually increase the torque to be transmitted, a joint structure comprises a first engaging member (10), a second engaging member (20), and an elastic member (30). The first engaging member (10) comprises a first body (11) and a first engaging claw (12). The second engaging member (20) comprises a second body (21) and a second engaging claw (22). The elastic member (30) is disposed between the first engaging member (10) and the second engaging member (20) in the circumferential direction. When the relative rotational angle (&thetas;) between the first engaging member (10) and the second engaging member (20) is less than a prescribed angle (&thetas;1), the torque is transmitted via the elastic member (30) which elastically deforms and the first engaging claw (12) and the second engaging claw (22) are not in direct contact in the circumferential direction. When the relative rotational angle (&thetas;) is the prescribed angle (&thetas;1), the first engaging member (10) and the second engaging member (20) are in direct contact in the circumferential direction. |
