PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for applying layout of a screen splitting video conference in accordance with interaction between conferees.SOLUTION: Regions of interest found in video images are used for arrangement of images of conferees to be dynamically arranged when the arrangement is displayed by endpoints. The arrangements are laid out to be responsive to various metrics, including a position of the conferees in a room and dominant conferees in a videoconference. Video images are manipulated as a part of the arrangements, including trimming and mirroring the video images. As interaction between the conferees changes, layout is automatically rearranged in response to the changed interaction. |
