<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface enabling execution of a scan operation with a more natural operation. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises a panel type display unit, a touch panel type input unit, an imaging unit, and a control unit. The input unit is arranged in lamination on the display unit, and receives an input by contact detection. The imaging unit captures an arrangement surface of an object arranged on the input unit while setting a range designated by a user on the input unit as an imaging range.
