<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new slaked lime in which no organic compound is contained or remains since any organic compound is not used when the slaked lime is produced industrially and which has a high BET specific surface area, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide an acidic gas removing agent using the slaked lime, in which the chemical oxygen demand (COD) is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In a slaking process for reacting raw quicklime with water, one or more kinds of clay mineral or artificial mineral containing silicon dioxide is added. Thereby, the new slaked lime having a high BET specific surface area is provided or produced, and the slaked lime is used as the acidic gas removing agent with the COD reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
