PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of lithium used in conventional lithium ion secondary batteries: the resource of lithium is unevenly distributed and lithium is in danger of causing a fire and corrosion; and it has been demanded to multiply an energy density.SOLUTION: A positive electrode for a secondary battery using a semiconductor consisting of a fine element 6 mainly composed of carbon containing carbon fine particles such as graphite and carbon nano tubes, fine particles 4 mainly composed of silicon, transition metal oxide 5 and carrier, is used as a positive electrode for a battery which comprises a positive electrode 2 using silicon and containing carbon; a negative electrode 10 consisting of a metal electrode; an electrolyte layer 7; a separator 8 between them; and a collector 8. |
