<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a television receiver in which strength shortage is prevented in a connection part of a rear cabinet constituted by a plurality of separated parts.SOLUTION: A rear cabinet of a television receiver (display device) is constituted by connecting a plurality of separated parts with screws. A peripheral edge portion 51 along a side of one separated part 11 to be connected is connected onto the other separated part 12 in an overlapping manner. The other separated part 12 is provided with an overlapping portion 61 overlapping on an inner face side of the peripheral edge portion 51, a first vertical rib 62 along a side, and a parallel member 63 protruding parallel to an outside face. The first vertical rib 62 and the parallel member 63 reinforce the separated part 12. The first vertical rib 62 is provided with a boss 64 into which a screw is inserted, and the parallel member 63 is separated at a position of the boss 64. A second vertical rib 66 is further provided so as to surround the boss 64, and a portion where the parallel member 63 is not provided is reinforced.</p> |
