<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-performance two-phase linear detection using SIN and COS signals in simple configuration by combining a detection coil and a long magnetic member. <P>SOLUTION: In a linear sensor, side length directions (43a and 44a) forming waveforms of both side parts (43 and 44) of a long magnetic member (40) are set so as to be non-orthogonal to a core width direction (C) which is orthogonal with a code length direction (B) of an E-shaped core (31), and relative movement in a non-contact state of the long magnetic member (40) and a detection stator (30) is detected in two phases comprised of SIN and COS signals by first and second detection coils (2 and 2A). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
