<p>In the present invention, laser light is projected onto a phosphor (42) and the phosphor (42) emits light of a specific wavelength band as diffusion light. A dichroic mirror (3) allows the laser light to pass therethrough and reflects the emission light from the phosphor (42). A collimator lens (5) forms the emission light reflected by the dichroic mirror (3) into parallel light. With respect to light in the edge regions of the emission light from the phosphor (42), a mirror (11) returns such light to the dichroic mirror (3) where it is reflected and caused to be incident on the phosphor (42).</p> |
