The present invention relates to an advertisement providing system. The method whereby the advertisement providing system comprising a user terminal provides an advertisement on a search box, according to a first aspect of the present invention, may comprise the steps of: monitoring whether or not the search box is selected by a user; if the displayed search box is selected, displaying an advertisement at one side of the outside of the selected search box; and if a search request for a search word entered in the selected search box is input by the user, stopping the displayed advertisement from being displayed. |
