PANEL MADE OF PRE-INSULATED MATERIAL FOR MANUFACTURING AN AIR DISTRIBUTION DUCT AND PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION THEREOF

A panel made of pre-insulated material for manufacturing an air distribution duct is described, comprising an insulating layer interposed between opposite surface layers, at least one of said surface layers being superficially provided with a nanotextured and hydrophobic coating obtained from a liquid composition comprising: a) from 10 to 70% by weight of a formulation comprising a mixture of hydrophobic silica particles, at least one organosilane and at least one solvent; b) from 20 to 60 % by weight of at least one polymeric resin; and c) optionally from 0.1 to 2 % by weight of at least one biocide. A process for preparing panels, as well as a process for manufacturing ducts comprising such panels are also described.
