<p>The end of a roller blind tube has an insert with a bearing arbor. The insert is frequently a plug that is pressed to fit closely in the end, and thereby it becomes difficult to remove. The diameter tolerances on roller blind tubes and inserts are such that the operator meets very variable forces in pressing it in. According to the invention there may be provided a choice of diameters by providing the insert with longitudinal ribs that cooperate either with the original inside surface of the roller blind tube, which is normal, or with longitudinal grooves having slightly increased radius.</p> |
