A method and computer program, network node and user equipment for use in a wireless communication network that can support communication with user equipment according to a coverage enhanced communication mode which utilises repetition of some messaging to increase coverage, and according to a non coverage enhanced mode where said some messaging is not repeated. Where a coverage enhanced mode indicator indicating to the user equipment whether the network node is currently operating in the coverage enhanced mode or not, is transmitted to the user equipment in a signal that is transmitted to user equipment that is not currently connected to said network, such that non connected user equipment is aware of the current mode of operation of the network node. |
