<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for diagnosing an error sensed by a device driver, which is capable of diagnosing an error sensed by the device driver and determining whether to restore a device by an application of a user level. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for diagnosing an error sensed by a device driver using a signal is disclosed. The method diagnosing an error comprises the steps of: detecting an error in a device by a device driver; transmitting a signal for reporting error detection to an application in a user area when the error is detected; and initializing the device depending on an error diagnosis result provided by the application.</p> |
