摘要 <p>Provided are a method and a system for tracking an object in real-time by using a mean-shift algorithm. According to an embodiment of the present invention, in the method for tracking the object in real time, the object is extracted from an input image, and the extracted object is tracked while shifting an ROI, based on feature points with respect to the extracted object. Accordingly, even though an image is very quickly inputted, and occlusion of an object of the image frequently occurs, the object can be more stably and accurately tracked in real time.</p>
