A carrying device 1 and method of manufacturing of a non-contact power receiving device for a vehicle comprises a carrying plate 3, a first edge element 13 at a first side edge 6 of the carrying plate 3, and another edge element 14 arranged at a second edge 7 of the carrying plate 3, wherein the edge elements 13, 14 are slanted diagonally with respect to the carrying plate 3. The edge elements 13, 14 may be spaced apart, and may be formed separately from the carrying plate 3. A recess or ridge may be provided in the sloped edge pieces 13, 14. The device 1 may be formed of separate modular components and connecting elements and may be fibre-reinforced. The structure provides greater strength. Also disclosed is a receiving device 2 with a top cover element attached to the carrying device 1. A bottom cover element may also be provided, as well as cable bearing elements. |
