#CMT# #/CMT# The blade lock (5), shaped to fix a turbine blade (13) in a disc groove (6), has a first side face (19) with a thrust surface that engages with the groove between the upper edge of a first lip (9) and the base of the groove as it is pivoted by a thrust element (3) between free and locked positions. The thrust element is in the form of a screw inserted in a threaded hole that made through the lock. The second side face (11) of the lock has a lug (15) that prevents any circumferential movement of the lock once it is in its locked position. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Locking a blade in a turbine disc. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The design of the lock makes for easier fixing, especially when disc groove lips are at different distances from the disc's axis of rotation. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a cross-section of the blade and disc lock. 3 : Thrust element 5 : Lock 6 : Disc groove 9, 11 : Lock side faces 13 : Turbine blade 15 : Lug.
|
