The present invention relates to a method for treating a surface of materials such as mica, sericite, and alumina which are flat pigments using a hydrothermal synthesis method using microwave, and to a cosmetic composition having a soft focus effect using the same. The pigments having the soft focus effect by treating the surface of mica, sericite, and alumina which are the flat pigments using magnesium oxide can express natural appearance without accompanying color expression, durability, and gloss which are similar with an existing pigment, and have excellent skin safety and formulation stability, thereby being used more usefully than an existing pigment having the soft focus effect. |
