The present invention relates to a guide roll used to manufacture polarizers. The present invention can increase the contact area and friction between the surface of the guide roll and a polymer film to prevent the stretching width of the polymer from decreasing and maintain the thickness of the polymer film at a predetermined level while improving cutting of the polymer film through increasing the rotational force of the guide roll. The guide roll of the present invention is installed in a treatment tank, which stores a fluid to process the polymer film to manufacture the polarizer, and comes in contact with the surface of the polymer film passing through the fluid to guide the direction of the polymer film. Multiple grooves formed on the surface of the guide roll are tilted against the shaft of the guide roll at angle and intersect with each other to form a grid. |
