发明名称 Non-woven material with a matrix containing elementary filaments
摘要
#CMT# #/CMT# Use of nonwoven fabric comprising at least two polymers as a sound absorption material, is claimed. The melting point of at least one first polymer is above the melting point of at least one second polymer, and the first polymer is in the form of elementary segments, which are distributed in a matrix of the second polymer. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The nonwoven fabric is useful for producing lining parts for the interior of automobiles, preferably car headliner, floor mats, door panels, column panels, rear shelves and/or boot liners, and wheelhouse linings and/or sound damping in vehicles, airplanes and trains, in the building industry and in small devices, preferably in the sound frequency region of 100-5000 Hz (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The nonwoven fabric is produced in a simple, rapid and cost-efficient manner; exhibits high strength, low weight, uniform stability, dense structure, low porosity, high color and light fastness, low soiling tendency, increased sound insulation, high abrasion resistance, high moisture resistance, high flame resistance, and good deep drawing capabilities; and is space saving and recyclable. #CMT#INDUSTRIAL STANDARDS : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The nonwoven fabric exhibits: an air sound absorption coefficient, which is measured in the impedance tube according to DIN EN ISO 10354-1with a basis weight of 100 g/m 2>, of >= 0.6 at a frequency of 1000-4000 Hz; and an air permeability of 20-100 Vm 2>second, measured according to DIN EN ISO 9237with a basis weight of 100 g/m 2>, length of 20 cm 2>and pressure of 50 Pa. #CMT#POLYMERS : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The proportion of the matrix in the non-woven fabric is 1-60 wt.%, preferably 10-40 wt.%. The difference between the melting points of the first- and second polymer is at least 15[deg] C, preferably at least 20[deg] C. The elementary segments are constructed circular segment-like, cake piece-like, circular or multilobal. The nonwoven fabric is impregnated with at least one binding agent comprising acrylates and aminoplasts, styrene-butadiene copolymers, nitrile butadiene rubber binder systems and/or polyurethanes, and is provided with a flame retardant. The nonwoven fabric comprises at least one adhesive component in powder form, which is made from a thermoplastic polymer, preferably polyethylene, copolyester or polyamide. The multi-component fibers comprise a first polymer component and a second polymer component, where (i) the first polymer component is arranged in a first zone and the second polymer component is arranged in a second zone over the cross-section of the multicomponent fibers, (ii) both polymer components extend in length direction of the multicomponent fibers, and (iii) the first polymer component has a melting point above the melting point of the second polymer component, and the first zone comprises the first polymer component in the form of at least two separable elementary segments. The multicomponent fibers comprise PIE (made of elementary segments) fibers, hollow PIE (made of elementary segments) fibers, core/sheath fibers, multilobal fibers or side-by-side fibers, which comprises at least two polymers having different melting points. Preferred Method: The sound-absorbing material is produced by (a) providing multi-component fibers, which comprises at least two polymers having different melting points, and (b) surface bonding of the multi-component fibers with a compressive heat treatment at 100-300[deg] C and a pressure of 40-150 N/mm. The surface connecting the multicomponent fibers is formed by applying a pressure of 40-100 N/mm, preferably 50-90 N/mm, and at greater than 100[deg] C, preferably 120-180[deg] C. #CMT#TEXTILES AND PAPER : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The nonwoven fabric exhibits: a thickness of 0.01-1 mm, preferably 0.1-0.2 mm; and a basis weight of 30-400 g/m 2>, preferably 40-120 g/m 2>. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# Polyethylene terephthalate and polyamide (30-50 wt.%) were coextruded and stretched aerodynamically to obtain PIE (made of elementary segments) filaments. Then the filaments were solidified at 130-180[deg] C and 50-80 N/mm to obtain spun nonwoven fabric.
