Described herein is a heatable unit (400) for apparatus for heating smokable material (420), wherein the heatable unit comprises a heating element and the heating element (410) is coated with smokable material; and wherein an adhesive (310, 320) adheres the smokable material to the heating element and the adhesive comprises a polysaccharide. Also described is apparatus containing the heatable unit and methods of making the heatable unit. |
