<p>An apparatus for monitoring a power generation system is disclosed. More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus for monitoring a power generation system and a method thereof, which are capable of confirming or predicting whether the power generation system abnormally operates by analyzing data on the operation of the power generation system. The apparatus includes: a data acquisition unit configured to receive reference data acquired according to at least three among first to fourth parameters on the operation of the power generation system, and target data acquired according to at least three parameters identical to the three parameters used to acquire the reference data, wherein the target data is acquired by monitoring the power generation system; a clustering unit configured to determine a cluster center position relative to the reference data; and a calculation unit configured to calculate a target distance that is a distance between the cluster center position and the target data.</p> |
