<p>The present invention relates to an earth leakage circuit breaker, of which a mean value of test current is low, and a power circuit unit is miniaturized and compact. The earth leakage circuit breaker comprises: an earth leakage circuit detection unit (7) which determines whether an electrical short of an AC electrical circuit (1) occurs, based on a secondary output of a zero current transformer (3) which uses the AC electrical circuit (1) as a primary coil; a switching element (8) which operates based on an output of the earth leakage circuit detection unit (7) when the electrical short of the AC electrical circuit (1) occurs; a trip device (6) which operates by the operation of the switching element, based on the output of the earth leakage circuit detection unit (7); a switching contact point (2) which opens the AC electrical circuit (1) by the operation of the trip device in a state where the AC electrical circuit (1) is closed in normal operation; a test device (9) which supplies mock leakage current to a test coil wound around the zero current transformer (3) when a leakage operation test is performed; and a setting unit (7g) which changes an operation characteristic of the earth leakage circuit detection unit (7) into an operation characteristic for the leakage operation test.</p> |
