<p>The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and an apparatus to detect signals in the receiving terminal of a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) wireless communication system. The present invention includes: a step of receiving a signal vector from a transmitting terminal; a step of dissembling a channel matrix with a unitary matrix and an upper triangular matrix, determining a candidate vector using the signal vector and the upper triangular matrix; a step of calculating a log likelihood ratio (LLR) value with regard to the candidate vector; and a step of outputting a soft output using the LLR. If the present invention satisfies a specific condition in the step of calculating the LLR value, the LLR value is adjusted by multiplying a weighed value.</p> |
