Disclosed are a jig device to lift a pipe, and a method for vertical coupling pipes. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the jig device to vertically install pipes from offshore installations comprises: an upper base unit partially supporting an outer circumference surface and an upper surface of the upper part of the pipe, including a flange unit protruded toward the direction of the diameter of the pipe which can be disassembled; a lower base unit partially supporting an outer circumference surface and a lower surface of the lower part of the pipe, including a flange unit protruded toward the direction of the diameter of the pipe capable of being disassembled; a shackle unit installed in the flange unit of the upper base unit and the flange unit of the lower base unit; and a lifting wire connected to the shackle unit, and lifting the pipe. |
