<p>The present invention accordingly provides a hair trapping device adapted for securably locating at an entry to a drain and operable to trap hair and prevent the hair from travelling into the drain, the hair trapping device comprising a position retaining member, the position retaining member being adapted to hold the hair trapping device in position, in use; and the hair trapping device further comprising a hair catching member adapted for gripping elongate filaments of hair and for holding the hair filaments and preventing them from entering into the drain. The hair trapping device (100’, 200) of the present invention has the advantage that it does not block the flow of water when the device (100’, 200) is in position on the drain grid. The hair trapping device is adapted to lie substantially flush against the drain grid and is not proud of the mouth of the drain. Thus, the hair trapping device is specifically adapted such that, when in use, it is not proud of the drain but rather is located on the drain grid and held securely in position where it is effective in trapping hair strands from entering the drain. <Figure 5></p> |
