The present invention relates to a system and a method to process a rich text image. The rich text image processing system includes: a client (100) which transmits size information of a text box to arrange text receiving through a key input by the operation of a user, text to be inputted, and style information of text to be inserted into the text box to a text editing server (200) through an information communications network and receives and displays a vector image generated to match the size information, the text, and the style information from the text editing server (200); and the text editing server (200) which generates text applying the style of each text section individually to a font, a size, a style, a color, a space between letters, and a width between letters included in the style information into a vector image in order to correspond to a text pass connecting the middle left coordinates, upper middle coordinates, and lower right coordinates of the text box and transmits the generated vector image to the client (100). The present invention described above is able to: arrange text by a curve or an arc by providing a text path function converting geometric attributes designating a direction of writing a character string in the text editing server into values of left, right, up, and down directions; and prevent the size of a text box from being cut by limiting the input size of the text box in advance by automatically and vertically extending the size of the text box when the width of the text box is small by providing an automatic line brake function. |
