MOBILE DISTILLERY FOR WATER AND STEAM DISTILLATION, BASED ON THE OLD TRADITIONS COMBINED WITH A NEW METHOD OF DISTILLATION AND NEW TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS OF CONSTRUCTING SYSTEM FOR PRODUCTION OF ETHERAL (ESSENTIAL) OILS

A new method of water-steam distillation- for water distillation soaking the raw material periodically, a process repeated many times and for steam distillation with superheated steam and the system can function under vacuum as well as under pressure and to boil secondary water saturated with ethereal oil or raw materials prepared for boiling in liquid state (pulps). The purpose is to raise the effectiveness and reduce the expenditures in the production of ethereal oils. New technical solutions in the construction of systems for the production of ethereal oils. The systems are mobile (transportable) and it is possible to produce them both for water and steam distillation with different working capacity varying from 5 to 1000 litres as to one oil-separating vessel (Florentine) up to three working systems can be connected in that way the overall working capacity can be assembled until the desired for each specific situation capacity is achieved. This characteristic makes them equally applicable under domestic as well as under industrial working conditions without disrupting their maximum effectiveness. With these new systems it is achieved in the process of extraction of ethereal oils a rendement (percentage of extraction) 10 to 16 % higher than the one produced up to now with the traditional water-steam distilleries. The quality parameters of the oil do not worsen but they improve. The produced quantity of distillate necessary for the maximum percentage extracted oil is 2 to 2,5 times less than the one produced with the traditional up to now water-steam distilleries. They are light and convenient for assembly and disassembly and they can be made out of flat copper as well as of stainless sheet metal or a combination of the two types.
