<p>Disclosed is an air conditioner for a vehicle, wherein the air conditioner has an additional door for preventing air discharged to a side vent from flowing backward to a center vent. The air conditioner comprises: an air conditioning case of which the inlet has an air inlet and the outlet has a defrost vent, a face vent, a floor vent, and a console vent branching off from the face vent which includes the center vent and the side vent; and a backflow preventing door preventing the air discharged to the console vent through the side vent from flowing backward to the center vent. Therefore, the part of the air is fundamentally prevented from being discharged to the interior of the vehicle after flowing backward to the center vent, wherein the air is discharged to the console vent through the side vent while the face vent is closed by a vent door. As a result of an effect above, the air conditioner allows a passenger in the vehicle not to be unintentionally exposed to the air discharged through the center vent in spite of the relatively simple configuration thereof so that an unpleasant feeling is effectively prevented from being given to the passenger.</p> |
