The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a high strength tire cord. Specifically, provided is a the manufacturing method of a high strength tire cord having 150 Mpa or greater or greater than the tensile strength of a finally drawn steel wire by using a steel wire for a tire cord having the ultra tensile (UT) strength of 4000 Mpa. The manufacturing method comprises: stranding the finally drawn steel wire and dipping the finally drawn steel wire in water at 80-100°C for 20-45 minutes, wherein the finally drawn steel wire desirably has the diameter of 0.15-0.38 mm and a structure made of pearlite, and is dipped in a water tank capable of maintaining constant temperatures. |
