At least three servo burst frequencies are simultaneously detected during a rotation of a disk using a read head. A position of the read head during the rotation is determined based on simultaneously reading at least two of the at least three servo burst frequencies.

simultaneously detecting at least three servo burst frequencies during a rotation of a disk using a read head; and determining a position of the read head relative to a track of the disk during the rotation based on simultaneously reading at least two of the at least three servo burst frequencies, the read head being wider than a width of the track of the disk.
