Disclosed is a manhole cover with improved watertightness. The manhole cover comprises: a frame forming a manhole opening; a cover installed to cover the manhole opening; and an elastic member inserted between the frame and the cover. The frame is equipped with a lateral support unit which has a shape corresponding to the cover and is formed along the outer circumferential surface of the cover in order to accommodate the cover and a longitudinal support unit supporting the cover. The elastic member is inserted between the cover and the lateral support unit. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the manhole cover comprising the cover, the frame, and the elastic member is provided to prevent a leakage of water by maximizing watertightness, thereby protecting expensive cables and electronic devices installed inside a manhole from rainwater and flowing water. In addition, the manhole cover has a much easier process of checking the defects of the elastic member (300) than that of conventional technology, and the elastic member (300) can be easily replaced without separating the cover (100). The manhole cover has the effects of preventing a leakage of water, noise due to an external impact, and the separation of the cover since the cover is sealed on the frame. |
