<p>The present invention provides a system and a method for monitoring the lower section of a vehicle, capable of monitoring the ground surface below the vehicle. The present invention enables a driver to check the state of the ground surface and the obstacle examination below the lower section of the vehicle by using the lower section monitoring system monitoring the ground surface the vehicle through a display in the vehicle while driving the vehicle. The present invention includes: at least one camera installed on the floor of the vehicle to record an image of the ground surface below the vehicle; and an image recovery unit which computes matching information regarding every coordinate of the image projected through a homography matrix based on the image coordinates of the floor surface calculated by using the correction information of the image received from the camera to convert the image in real time.</p> |
