Engines pollute the environment by contaminating air with NOx, SOx, and/or COx emissions. Provided herein are systems, devices and methods for reducing NOx, SOx, and/or COx emissions. In certain embodiments, provided is a system that comprises a reactor that is operatively connected to: (a) a biogas production unit for converting waste to a biogas; and (b) an engine that produces energy and an engine exhaust. By way of non-limiting example only, provided is a reactor that provides a decrease in NOx, SOx, and/or COx emissions from the engine exhaust by contacting the engine exhaust with a liquid waste provided from the biogas production unit and thereby producing an emission with a decreased NOx, SOx, and/or COx level relative to the engine exhaust. |
