initiating a transmission for transmitting a protocol data unit (PDU) of a long term evolution positioning protocol (LPP) layer of the mobile device, to a base station of the wireless communication system; and retransmitting the LPP PDU to the base station when the transmission is failed; wherein retransmitting the LPP PDU to the base station when the transmission is failed comprises:
starting a timer of the LPP layer when the LPP layer transmits the LPP PDU to the first communication layer; andutilizing the LPP layer to retransmit the LPP PDU when the timer is expired. |
