FIELD: physics, computer engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to displays and can be used to design cathodoluminescent displays and a method for controlling said displays. A cathodoluminescent display 1 comprises a first glass substrate 2 and a second glass substrate 3, and a cavity 4 between said substrates is filled with a low-pressure inert gas. On the inner side 5 of the first substrate 2 there are pixels 6 which are luminophore-coated 7 conducting pixel areas 8 made of light-transmitting material. There is a conducting frame 9 around each pixel 6. On the inner side 10 of the second substrate 3 there are conductors of a first group 11 and conductors of a second group 12, wherein on the conductors of the first group 11 there are cold cathodes 13, and on the conductors of the second group 12 there is a porous film 14 made of material having a secondary electron emission property.EFFECT: longer service life of the cathodoluminescent display.8 cl, 5 dwg |
