The invention relates to a method for protecting against phytopathogenic agents consisting in treating seeds with kiralaxyl (Methyl-N-(phenylacetyl)-N-(2,6- xylyl)-D-alaninate) in combination with at least one type of other pesticide. The use of kiralaxyl in combination with at least one type of other pesticide, corresponding substances and specific seeds are also disclosed.
