<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has a clamping structure comprising a receiving compartment, and a resilient sealing sleeve (7) receiving an end of a cable protection tube (3). The sleeve comprises two axially and radially offset cylindrical inner contour sections for forming a circumferential sealing surface with the cable protection tube, and for forming a cable sealing surface. A funnel shaped inner contour taper (35) is formed between the circumferential sealing surface and the cable sealing surface, where one of the contour sections is narrow. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for sealing an end of a tube for protection of a cable e.g. glass fiber, glass fiber bundle and single wire, that is utilized for transferring electronic data. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The funnel shaped inner contour taper is formed between the circumferential sealing surface and the cable sealing surface, thus improving installation and operating ergonomics for assembly of the device. The funnel shaped inner contour taper forms a stable and reliable sealing lip in a region of inner contour sections, and allows simplification of threading of a cable at the contour section.
