<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a terminal to perform redundant security setting and cancellation for setting terminal-specific security and a control method thereof. The present invention relates to a terminal and a control method thereof and, more specifically, to lock settings of a terminal and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method of controlling a terminal comprises the steps of: displaying a first lock screen for limiting the operation of a terminal; determining whether a password is normally inputted to unlock the first lock screen; activating a camera when the password is wrongly inputted as the number of inputs of the password exceeds a predetermined number; photographing a user using the activated camera; storing the photographed image; and limiting password input for unlocking the first lock screen.</p> |
