<p>PURPOSE: A display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to prevent leaching of alkali ions on soda lime glass. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(110) includes alkali ions. A transparent conductive layer(112) used as a pixel electrode(136) is formed on the substrate. The transparent conductive layer prevents leaching of the alkali ions. An insulating layer(114) is formed on a zinc oxide layer. The insulating layer includes a contact hole(116). A thin film transisto is connected with the zinc oxide layer through the contact hole. The thin film transistor is formed on the insulating layer. A source electrode(120) is connected with the pixel electrode through the contact hole. A drain electrode(122) separated from the source electrode is formed on the insulating layer.</p> |
