<p>Provided is a torque assist system of an automated manual transmission, which comprises: an input shaft having an inner shaft which constantly receives power by having one end connected to the driving shaft of an engine, and having an outer shaft installed to be able to shift a gear in order to transmit the power by a clutch system and having a gear shift part on the outer circumferential surface thereof; a hub interlocked to be engaged with the outer circumferential surface of the other end of the inner shaft; a hydraulic system installed on one side of the hub; a drum arranged to house the hub; a multi-plate clutch interposed between the hub and the drum, and interlocking the hub and the drum when the hydraulic system is operated; and a helical gear mounted to be able to be interlocked with the drum, and transmitting the power to the output shaft. Compared with an existing planetary gear-type torque assist system, the torque assist system according to the prevent invention is capable of freely adjusting the sizes of the hub and the drum thereof, thereby minimizing the expansion of the appearance of the automated manual transmission, increasing the amount of the multi-plate clutch, and easily improving the performance and the durability of the multi-plate clutch.</p> |
