<p>The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of conveniently performing user registration and authentication using a smart watch, a smart watch, and a method for performing authentication with the smart watch and a method for performing authentication with the mobile terminal and the smart watch, which include detecting a request for authentication for executing an application; measuring a user′s heartbeat rhythm by a sensor mounted in a bottom of the smart watch when detecting the request for the authentication; and comparing the measured heartbeat rhythm with a pre-stored heartbeat rhythm and thus performing authentication on an application of the smart watch or an external device. Thus, an interworking function (e.g., user registration/authentication) of the smart watch and the mobile terminal may be performed by combining biometrics with the smart watch.</p> |
