The present invention relates to a carbon emission right trading method and a system thereof. The method is operated by a transaction mediation server providing a carbon emission right trading service for multiple user terminals through a network. The method includes the steps of: collecting and accumulating the greenhouse gas emission amount of a user having a limited greenhouse gas emission quota for a predetermined unit period; predicting the expected total emission amount at the end of the unit period based on the total greenhouse gas emission amount at the current point; notifying the user of the needed amount when the predicted emission amount is larger than the quota or notifying the user of the remaining amount when the predicted emission amount is lower than the quota; and mediating the transaction of the predicted remaining or needed amount. Accordingly, the present invention can encourage the carbon emission right trading. |
