<p>The present invention relates to a technology to block a malicious text message in a mobile communication terminal. The method for blocking a malicious text message in a mobile communication terminal according to the present invention comprises the following steps of: analyzing a received text message to extract data required to determine whether the text message is malicious when the mobile terminal receives the text message; determining whether the received text message is malicious, questionable, or normal by applying a policy needed to determine whether the text message is malicious based on the extracted data; and blocking the text message when the received message is determined as a malicious text message, displaying that the text message is suspected as a malicious text message when the received text message is determined as a questionable text message, and displaying the text message when the received text message is determined as a normal text message. According to the present invention, by determining a malicious text message, a user can actively handle threats, such as smishing, phishing, etc. In other words, according to the present invention, before a user is exposed to a text message, it is determined whether the text message is malicious and the result is reported to the user, thereby minimizing the threat caused by a malicious text message.</p> |
