<p>This invention provides a portable device, consisting of an assembly of simple parts, working together for the exercise of the whole body. It is an improvement over any other existing device in that it does not require the use of any weights, and mainly for this reason is portable. It is made up from light materials, such as plastic handles, tension resistance hollow cables, reinforced straps, metallic rings and safety hooks. Special fastening devices to athletic shoes, as well as a hollow metal rod and two special reinforced straps for anchoring to an ordinary door, upon closing it, complete the assembly. This device provides the means to exercise the whole human body at various tensions, as may be desired by the user, regardless of body size or weight. This device assembly weighs only about 5 pounds, I.e. less than 2.5 Kilograms, and without the hollow metal rod, can be fitted into any small carrying bag or case.</p> |
