The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for reconstructing a scene of a traffic accident which can reconstruct scenes of a traffic accident including the traffic accident scene and the scenes before and after the accident at various angles by restoring the traffic accident scene into a three-dimensional traffic accident process based on real images by using black box images photographed by multiple vehicles at various viewpoints and images photographed in various environments, such as street CCTVs. The apparatus comprises: an information collecting unit for receiving images and sounds about a fixed object and a moving object in and around a traffic accident location; a fixed object reconstructing unit for establishing a three-dimensional accident environment by restoring a three-dimensional shape of the fixed object based on the received images; a moving object reconstructing unit for arranging the received image by time, detecting a motion of the moving object, and combining the motion of the moving object with the three-dimensional accident environment including the restored fixed object according to time; a reconstructing unit for reconstructing the traffic accident scene which is reconstructed by the three-dimensional moving object at a relevant time based on the combining result by the moving object reconstructing unit in response to a play request according to time. |
