<p>According to the present invention, a vacuum pump of a vacuum packing apparatus includes a cylinder means having an air suction chamber formed inside, and a check valve attenuating operation noise while controlling introduced and discharged air into and from the air suction chamber; and an operation means providing operation force to pump the cylinder means. The introduced and discharged air into and from the air suction chamber are controlled by the check valve while maintaining a state wherein one portion is apart from a middle plate and the other portion is in contact with the middle plate when opening an air inlet or an air outlet formed on the middle plate, thereby attenuating operation noise of a vacuum pump. More specifically, only a partial portion of the flexible check valve is bent and detached from the middle plate instead of the entire portion even when the check valve is detached from the middle plate due to being pushed by a pushing force of air, and only the detached portion comes in contact again with the middle plate when the pushing force of air disappears; thus causing a smaller noise than the noise of tapping the middle plate as the entire portion of the check valve is detached from and comes in contact again with the middle plate. Furthermore, when only the detached portion comes in contact again with the middle plate as the pushing force of air disappears, the detached portion comes in contact by gradually being bent from a portion already in contact with the middle plate instead of coming in contact with the middle plate at once, such that noise is remarkably reduced; thereby remarkably reducing the operation noise of the vacuum pump.</p> |
