Device for Maintaining Air Pressure of a Tire using Wireless Power Device and Method for Controlling the same

The present invention relates to a wireless power type device for maintaining tire air pressure and a control method thereof. The wireless power type device comprises an air inlet unit which includes a battery connected to a main tire air pressure controller and supplies compressed air inside the tire; and an air outlet unit which maintains optimal air pressure by operating a discharge device when tire air pressure is excessive. The wireless power type device actively changes the tire air pressure of a vehicle depending on outside environment conditions or maintains an optimal condition by detecting the change of air pressure inside the tire.
